This policy explains how Dogio Interior Systems Sdn. Bhd. ("Dogio", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through the website dogio.pro, by phone, by email and during site visits. We process personal data in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
We collect only what we need to arrange and deliver ceiling work:
Your data is used to respond to enquiries, schedule site visits, prepare quotations, perform contracted installation work, honour warranty obligations, and meet accounting requirements under Malaysian law. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
We rely on your consent (when you submit a form), the performance of a contract (when you engage us), and legal obligation (tax and company record-keeping). You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to [email protected]; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
Access is limited to Dogio staff who need it to serve you — designers, installation coordinators and accounts personnel. We may share limited data with couriers delivering samples and with professional advisers (auditors, lawyers) bound by confidentiality. We never transfer personal data outside Malaysia except where a service provider's infrastructure requires it, and then only with PDPA-compliant safeguards.
Enquiry data that does not lead to a project is deleted within 24 months. Project and warranty records are retained for the duration of your 12-year warranty plus one year, and financial records for seven years as required by law.
Data is stored on access-controlled systems, transmitted over encrypted connections, and backed up in encrypted form. Paper site-survey notes are digitised and shredded within 30 days.
Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, limit processing, or request deletion where no legal retention duty applies. Write to [email protected] or to our registered address; we respond within 21 days.
We revise this policy when our practices or the law change. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes are highlighted on this page for 30 days.
